If you haven't heard, there was a stampede Monday night (11/22/10) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, that resulted in 350 people dead. This took place during Cambodia's annual Water Festival. Spectators were on a bride, when there was rumor that the bridge was unstable. This caused pandemonium causing the panicked people to rush towards what they thought was safety. In the process of doing so, they stomped and trampled over people that got in their way.

We will not survive 2012 because if the thought of a bridge collapsing is enough for human beings to stomp to death 350 of their fellow man, then any catastrophic event (as predicted to occur in 12/21/12), will lead to even greater panic and disaster. People will kill one another to survive, instead of helping one another. Our natural tendency to be selfish is almost viral. Viruses kill their hosts by devouring all resources that the host has, but once their host is dead, all resource is gone and the viruses die alongside their host. Similarly, if we are not far-sighted enough to realize how value the human resource is, and not watch out for each other, we are going to be left in a world where we have no support or help.
They say humans are intelligent, but our intelligence is limited to a controlled environment. When it comes to survival, we are probably one of the stupidest species due to our inherent need to be competitive and beat out whoever gets in our way.
WHY WE WILL NOT SURVIVE 2012
An accumulation of evidence that in the wake of chaos and catastrophe, human selfishness, greed, and stupidity, will prevent us from surviving.
